Cape Pilates Cancellation & Refund Policy

Objectives and Background 

Cape Pilates is committed to providing the best service in a timely manner. We aim to accommodate your needs. 

Unfortunately, when a client cancels without giving adequate notice, it may prevent another client from being served. This cancellation policy is used as a way of respecting the time commitment of all involved. It explains the process for requesting a cancellation and the fees applicable. This policy is used in fairness to both our business and the clients who would otherwise have wanted an appointment. 

We are implementing a straightforward cancellation policy to be upfront about all the costs you may face when engaging any of our services. 

Cancellation Process 

We understand situations can arise in which you must cancel or change an appointment. We request you cancel or change with an adequate notice which is a minimum of 12 hours. 

Canceling or changing an appointment can be made by the following methods:

(i) sending an SMS to Jacqui on 0407 838 469 

(ii) Email at info@capepilates.com.au 

(iii) Clicking the link that was sent via SMS to cancel or reschedule the appointment. 

If adequate time is not provided you will forfeit the fee paid for that appointment or if the appointment has not been pre-paid they will be charged for the cancellation fee. 

Please note Cape Pilates may cancel a class at any time and for any reason. An email will be sent with notification of cancellation and you will not be charged. If this was to occur a credit will be applied for any classes in this circumstance. 

If a client arrives 10 minutes late or more for a class, they will forfeit the class or be charged a cancellation fee. No refunds are offered. 

Cancellation Fee 

  • The cancellation fee is $30 if there is no existing class pack active 
  • If the client has an existing class pack that is active, one class will be forfeited from the pack.

Refund Policy 

If you are entitled to a refund at law, Cape Pilates will provide a refund. 

1. Response Time 

(a) We aim to process any requests for refunds within 1-2 business days of receipt.
